STORY SO FAR

Merseyfest has carried out many projects and launched numerous events since it was founded in 2002. All of the projects & events we have carried out have been hugely successful and we believe we have changed peoples lives along the way. Some of our Projects / Events can be see below.

Pilot Project 2004

The Project took place in Sefton in August 2004 when 17 projects took place over a three day period. The three days culminated in a celebratory gig when Yfriday, Supervision and bandwithnoname were the headline acts. Notable projects took place at Victoria Park, Crosby, The Jospice in Thornton and in Bootle when the problem of debt was tackled using a Christian Debt Counselling service. This has led to a Credit Union being established supported by Northfield Church.
